Internships & Work Experience
We are passionate about creating opportunities for the conservators of the future. We have welcomed students from courses and institutions including the Courtauld, the Modern and Contemporary Art Conservation course at the University of Amsterdam, and the Conservation course at Bern University of Applied Sciences to our studio for work experience.
How to apply:
Applicants need to send their CV and a cover letter outlining why they want to do work experience at Simon Gillespie Studio and what they hope to get out of it. Please also state dates when you would like to come. Due to the number of applications we receive, we are only able to offer work experience to students currently undertaking a postgraduate degree in Easel Paintings Conservation within a reputable institution and having completed at least one year of their course.
